New Partnership with Theatron Project (Rome La Sapienza)
The CPUGRD has just developed a new partnership with the Theatron Project of the University of Rome La Sapienza, directed since 2010 by Prof. Anna Maria Belardinelli. The mission of Theatron is to produce original translations of ancient plays, written by students attending the classes of ancient philology at La Sapienza. These translations are then ‘tested’ on stage in students performances, which have now become a traditional event in the life of the University.
